You are bidding on REICHSVERTEIDIGUNG Die Geschichte des Jagdgeschwaders 1 "Oesau" by Eric Mombeek, 1993. This book is written in German. I think the title translates to DEFENSE OF THE REICH The History of Jagdgeschwader 1 "Oesau". Jagdgeschwader 1 was a Luftwaffe unit which saw service throughout World War II. There are many pictures and lots of text here, which I can't read, but it looks like all kinds of facts & data. Interestingly, this unit was re-equipping with the He 162 'Salamander' when the war ended, and so was one of the few outfits to actually fly the little jet fighters operationally. This book is clean. I did not see any scribbles, rips, tears, etc. It is 336 numbered pages in length and measures about 12" by 8½" in size. Looking to buy a gift? Take a look at our other auctions.
