Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the release of the classic Willis O’Brien silent film starring Wallace Beery, using live actors and stop-motion animated dinosaurs. O’Brien went on to create his masterpiece, in animating the creatures for King Kong. Gift inscription dated 1927. Very good copy with some very minor handling in in a very good slightly dust soiled dust jacket with small tears and chips. The frontispiece is a terrific photograph is of two dinosaurs fighting.
