The copyright page explicitly states “First Ace Books edition 1961.” This early UK paperback edition is particularly interesting because its contents differ from the standard American edition of The October Country. The Ace edition contains a selection of stories from The October Country and also includes “The Traveller,” originally published in Bradbury’s earlier collection Dark Carnival. Condition: Very Good to Very Good+ vintage condition and exceptionally attractive for a paperback of this age. Covers remain bright and clean with excellent color and very little overall wear. Spine remains square and highly presentable with light rubbing/edge wear. Corners and edges show only minor wear. Interior pages have uniform age toning consistent with the book’s age.
