Both volumes are true First Edition, First Printings. ​Forward the Foundation (1993): Bound in cream boards with a white quarter-cloth spine and gold lettering stating "Isaac Asimov Forward the Foundation Doubleday". The inner flap features the $23.50 price. Features beautiful maroon paste-downs. The copyright page states "Printed in the United States of America April 1993" with a 2-10 number line. Cover Artist: Bob Larkin. ​Collector's Note on "Forward": The Easton Press originally held the rights to printing #1, intending to release a signed copy. However, following Isaac Asimov's passing, the project was halted, and no copies were ever produced with a "1" in the print line. Therefore, this 2-10 number line signifies the true first printing of this edition. ​Prelude to Foundation (1988): Bound in blue boards featuring the title engraved directly into the cover.
