Offered here is the 2005 expanded and revised hardcover edition of We Want to Live! The Primal Diet by Aajonus Vonderplanitz, published by Carnelian Bay Castle Press of Los Angeles [second printing, 2007]. This edition combines Volume One, “Out of the Grips of Disease and Death” (the story), and Volume Two, “Healthfully” (the facts), and adds sixty-five pages of remedies and explanations not present in earlier printings. Volume One recounts the author’s account of his own recovery from terminal cancer, diabetes, bursitis, and psoriasis, along with case narratives from others who credit the raw-food Primal Diet approach with resolving a wide range of ailments, closing with an appendix of remedies organized alphabetically by ailment.
