Published in 1981 Ballantine’s Silver Jubilee Edition of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings was the first paperback edition to appear after the 1978 animated feature. The artwork was done by Darell K Sweet who also did the artwork for Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time books. Lord Of The Rings And The Hobbit, Ballantine Paperback Set, VG Condition.
