Training for Athletes. First edition, very scarce with the dust jacket, of Harold Abrahams's guide for athletes, with contributions by Lord Burghley, D. G. A. Lowe, F. R. Gaby, B. Howard Baker, and M. C. Nokes. Abrahams is remembered as the winner of the 100 meter sprint race in the 1924 Olympics, a feat depicted in the 1981 film Chariots of Fire.
