YACHTING.

Inquire · Offered by Peter Harrington

Signals of the Royal Northern Yacht Club, 1831. First edition thus, scarce, with just two copies located NMM and NLS, which also has a similar volume dated two years earlier. This copy with a pamphlet in printed blue paper wrappers containing the Rules & Regulations, 8 pages, and a bifolium with Resolutions for 1834, retained by a blue silk ribbon at the front endpapers, and a list of members for July 1835, 10 pages, in plain pink wrappers similarly attached at the rear, we can trace no other copies of these supplementary texts. Founded in 1824, the club received its royal charter in 1830. A pretty little volume, desperately uncommon and in excellent state.
