Used condition. PLEASE NOTE> this book was sold to me as an "autographed" copy. There is an inked name on the first leaf but I am not> repeat NOT touting it as authentic. Many of Stephen King's signatures are often obvious fakes and this one is (much to my chagrin) one of them. This listing is for a guaranteed true first edition, first trade HBDJ print of his haunted car thriller, CHRISTINE. Buy It Now at the full listed price for a reading copy (last photo) so this collectible volume can do its work on your shelf or bookcase. Book is used but all 'first edition points' are here> '$16.95' retail price on original DJ flap, copyright page (CRP) reads "First Published In 1983 by The Viking Press" with no added number line, A "Special Limited Edition" (meaning 'expensive') printing is mentioned on the CRP. List of the authors publications all predate this entry. There are numerous eBay listings stating 'first edition' but most of them do not mention these vital details; I do guarantee your satisfaction in this one. DJ does have some light loss, foxing to heels, shelf wear at edges and corners. Heels and corners are bumped with mild loss (pics) and there is some tanning to inside the covers and mild fade to spine. Book itself is in used but good condition for the age and miles. Spine has some mild fade and tip. Slight wash to boards and fornt board has light scarring from sticker removal (pic). AGAIN inked name on first leaf.
