RED WINE AND YELLOW HAIR by Kenneth Patchen 1949 New Directions, NY First Edition. First edition bound in yellow cloth with black & red lettering to the spine. 8vo (6" X 9 1/2") size, 64 pp. Near Fine in DJ. Front endpaper has the remains of a bookplate that was removed and a name inked near the removed plate. Front fly also has and inked name, date & location on the fly. Contents and covers are otherwise fine and unmarked. Very Good dj has some small, short tears to the top of the front panel and the head of the spine. Base of spine has a small, shallow chip. Mild dust soiling to the spine and rear panel.
