WHY SMASH ATOMS? Arthur K. Solomon Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press, 1940. First edition. 147 page hardcover bound in light grdeen cloth with black lettering. Black & white photos and drawings. A Very Good copy in a Good dust jacket. Book has some light dust staining to the outer edges of the cloth covers. Endpapers and inner gutters are tanned but not fragile. The interior is otherwise clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has chips to its corners and spine tips. 3/4" closed vertical tear at the front panel's upper edge. Rubbing to the folds. Tanning to the jacket's spine and rear panel.
