This edition includes a brilliant introduction by renowned military aviation historian Barrett Tillman. This is a genuine, direct-to-page signature, not a bookplate, sticker, or facsimile. Condition Details: Signature Page: Clean, bold signature with no smudging or ink transfer. Binding & Text Block: Square, tight, and structurally excellent. The top and fore-edges of the text block are remarkably clean and uniform. The bottom edge shows a few light, localized foxing/age spots. The original black silk ribbon bookmark is fully intact. Cloth Boards: Crisp corners with only faint, minor shelf-rubbing on the bottom edges. Dust Jacket: Very Good condition with bright, vibrant colors. Shows minor, typical softening at the spine head and light spotting on the interior flaps.
