SCARCE 1860 Second Edition of editor Crosby's publication of Rufus' Life of Alexander the Great with his Latin Notes. Book has been professionally rebacked with what looks like merely binding tape to the covers, but it has actually been rebacked with a nicwe, firm spine backing and the book is now easily read without causing any damage. The binding is strong and tight. It is is in GOOD+ Condition with some soiling, soiling to page edges, and a few light pencil notes, but not a lot. No loose, torn or missing pages and a tight, firm binding. Covers have moderate wear with some edge chipping, but overall very nice.
