FYI: Based on Research, these were most likely produced in the 1970's (as with many other volumes by this publisher) FYI-2: These volumes are a new edition of the original 1915 edition by James Orr. As noted in the Publisher's Preface, in this "new edition" the publishers chose to use marks to cross out information they no longer considered reliable (though the information is still viewable; see listing photos for examples). FYI-3: As shown in the photos, two volumes (IV and V) have covers along the spine that are cracking at the bend of the cover; the spine covers are still attached, but may later need to be re-glued or attached with clear tape; the text block is not effected and has solid binding; this is strictly the spine cover. Notes: General aging, shelf wear and usage wear. I do my best to flip through the pages multiple times and look for writing, marks, or highlighting; I might miss something. External conditions as shown. No former owner information. Clean text. Solid sewn pagen binding; no loose pages. This will be box shipped with care.
