1966 The Jerusalem Bible Doubleday Red Hardcover & Slipcase USA J.R.R. Tolkien This edition of the bible was put together with the help of many literary professionals, There is a list of some of the main collaborators in the first few pages and one of he more notable ones i recognized was J.R.R. Tolkien and he is on that list. (List pictured above) Good overall preowned condition. The spine is still intact and tight as it should be. All pages are intact with no extra markings other than the small dedication on the inside of the cover in pencil. Its a short handwritten note to the previous owner and does not effect the text of the book in any way. The corners on the outer box/slip case have seen better days and a couple of the corners are rounded and seem to be peeling/cracking down two of them. SEE PICTURES FOR DETAILS. Other than that and a small shallow scratch on the front of the red cover of the book (not terribly noticeable) this book is in great condition in my opinion especially for the age.
