Good vintage hardcover with heavily distressed original dust jacket. Mustard/orange cloth boards show light soiling, rubbing, and edge wear. Spine label remains attractive and readable. Interior pages are generally clean with normal age toning, and the binding appears sound. Original Grosset & Dunlap dust jacket is present but substantially torn and incomplete, with large portions missing from the front panel, significant edge loss, tears, chips, and wear. The surviving jacket retains portions of the original Scorpion artwork/title, spine lettering, publisher advertisements, and jacket-flap text. Please see all photos for exact condition.
