First American edition, 13th printing hardcover copy of Sabriel by Garth Nix (HarperCollins, 1996). Book one in the beloved young adult fantasy series, the Abhorsen Trilogy - a part of the greater Old Kingdom universe of novels. Rare early hardcover edition. An ex-library copy with minimal markings: stamp to title page, checkout slip glue residue to rear endpaper and faint blemishes to top and bottom edges of boards where jacket was once adhered. Mild rubbing/scuffing to dj faces with slight shelf wear around the edges. Board corners bumped. Binding faintly split at title page though spine is straight and binding remains firm on the whole.
