A handsomely printed business card, apparently signed and inscribed by the Austrian School economist "mit besten empfehlungen" on 16 December 1915.By 1915, as this card attests, Menger was a court councillor to Franz Joseph I of Austria, a member of the Herrenhaus and the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
