A parody of a sumo grading chart, called Mitate Banzuke. A sumo grading chart was a popular type of print in the Edo period, ranking famous sumo wrestlers. This print is from the Meiji period, and uses a popular template to present a Parody of Men and Women’s Rights (“Danjo Kenri Iroha Mondo”), Iroha being the Japanese order of alphabets.
