had the book not been written in and on the spine is in fabulous condition. the spine is not cracked. I don't think that this book was ever really opened and read. however, there is $0.05 written on the front cover and a letter. A inside on the contents page someone was practicing their math skills. there is a tear on page 139 to 150 and writing and spelling practice at the back of the book. see all photos for details
