The publisher label on the original outer box specifically states “SPECIAL COLLECTOR’S EDITION, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR” and “This is one of only 500 numbered copies.” This example remains completely sealed and unopened, with the book still enclosed inside its original packaging, so the limitation number and Harper Lee autograph have never been exposed or viewed. The original publisher price shown on the box is $1,500.00.
