IAN FLEMING - THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, published by First Edition Library (and often referred to as the "FEL" edition), copyright 1962, copyright renewed 1990, red endpapers, black board with silver lettering on spine and silver knife design on front board, illustrated DJ and slipcase. Book and Dust Jacket is an exact reproduction of the UK Jonathan Cape Original Hardcover. First Edition Library (an imprint of Easton Press) issued these reproductions starting around 1993 and ending around 2002, and are now out of print and high collected by Ian Fleming collectors (often just for the slipcase). Book, Dust Jacket, and Slipcase are in very nice condition - book appears unread, no markings inside, no soiling/staining to dust jacket, no wear to DJ spine tips/flap crease tips (closed nick tear at edge), slight sun fading to DJ spine (common defect with these FEL books), no dented corners to slipcase, no corner wear to slipcase (barest hint of edge wear), no tape tears to slipcase (another common defect), no foxing/dust soiling to grey edges on slipcase. Overall a very nice difficult to find Ian Fleming James Bond FEL hardcover book complete with their original slipcase.
