You are bidding on a surprisingly scarce true first edition / first printing of Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson's seminal study on space exploration entitled Space Chronicles: Facing the Ultimate Frontier. This book is signed by Dr. Tyson along with a brief personalization as shown along with a cheery Welcome to the Universe! It is also dated in the year of publication so was very likely signed during his initial book tour. The signature page contains an additional inscription with an abbreviated autograph and I'm almost certain that was added by Avis Lang, co-author. Condition is excellent; the book has only mild blemishes and the dust jacket looks terrific with the new mylar cover I've added. A wonderful gift for any space enthusiast!
