Eadweard Muybridge’s Complete Human and Animal Locomotion, Volumes I and II, published by Dover in 1979. Two oversized hardcovers reproducing the human-motion studies from Muybridge’s landmark 1887 photographic work. Volume I covers nude male and female subjects; Volume II includes semi-nude and draped figures, children, miscellaneous subjects and abnormal movements. Both books are in very good condition with clean cloth boards, sound bindings and clean interiors. Dust jackets show light shelf wear and minor edge wear. Please note that Volume III, covering animal studies, is not included. Books will be well packaged.
