From Julia Child’s Kitchen by Julia Child Alfred A. Knopf, New York, 1975. Original First Edition / First Printing hardcover of Julia Child’s classic cookbook, complete with its original dust jacket. This copy has several desirable first-edition points: * Copyright page states “First Edition” * Original dust jacket retains the $15.00 publisher’s price on the front flap * Rear dust-jacket flap is marked “10/75” * ISBN 0-394-48071-6 * Published by Alfred A. Knopf * 687 pages plus index The hardcover book itself presents nicely for its age. Pages show normal age toning but appear clean, and the binding appears solid. The original dust jacket is complete but has considerable wear from age and use, including tears, chipping, creasing and paper loss along the edges. The most noticeable losses are at the upper-left corner and along the lower edge/front panel. Please see all photographs, which are part of the condition description. A nice collectible example of Julia Child’s 1975 first edition, especially desirable with the original price-intact 10/75 dust jacket still present. Not signed. Thanks for viewing!!
