Accident. First edition, number 27 of 40 signed by the photographer. Accident was a photographic series created for a column running monthly in 1969 in the magazine Asahi Camera. Moriyama appropriated images of accidents from taloid newspapers, magazines, television, and even a police road-safety poster. This was the first time the series was issued as a book.As here, copies were issued with a spare set of archival, acid free paper for interleaving between the pages.
