Gilt- and dark green-pictorial light green cloth lettered in gilt; top edge dyed light green, others uncut (and now a little chipped); cloth very lightly rubbed, bumped and marked, with minor loss of gilt to one letter on the front cover; endpapers and adjacent leaves offset; occasional light foxing; tiny creased tear to the bottom margin of one plate neatly sealed; an excellent copy. Although this is an early work by Alfred Garth Jones (1872-1955), it would appear to be one of his more significant endeavours.
