A first edition of Bruce Chatwin's The Attractions of France, which was found amongst the author's possessions after his death. Chatwin was a British travel writer and journalist perhaps best known for his work, In Patagonia. First edition, one of 211 copies; 8vo (26 x 18 cm); 26 copies (lettered A - Z) of the original 211 contain a facsimile of a page of the corrected typescript, this copy being letter V, unmarked internally; publisher's blue cloth, paper label to upper panel, one or two minor blemishes to rear panel, otherwise very good; 17pp, [3]pp.
