With spare frontispiece illustration loosely inserted, presumably taken from the limited edition which has the plates tipped in. First trade edition; 8vo (210 x 155 mm); 13 colour plates and further in-text illustrations by Arthur Rackham with captioned tissue-guards, light spotting to prelims, occasional smudge or mark; modern full green morocco, spine in 6 compartments with gilt lettering to second and fourth, gilt decal to others, marble endpapers, all edges gilt, cloth cover bound in at rear, some minor signs of wear, mainly to extremities, a few light scuffs to page edges, spine slightly faded, otherwise a very handsome fine binding; [x], 162pp, [2]pp.
