For sale is an original first printing of the premier issue, Metal Gear Solid #1, published by IDW Publishing in September 2004. This is the landmark debut issue adapting Hideo Kojima's legendary Konami video game masterpiece. It features the highly acclaimed, gritty signature multimedia cover and interior artwork of Ashley Wood, with a story by Kris Oprisko. The reverse cover features a classic vintage promotional ad for IDW's horror series, 30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales. I bought this from new from FP shop, read once and it's been stored away for 20+ years. A must-have anchor piece for any serious Metal Gear Solid collector, retro gaming fan, or comic enthusiast.
