This is the yearbook created for the USS Essex on its trip through the Panama Canal around Cape Horn in 1957. It documents the trip, leaving San Francisco CA and all the stops they made. There are no individual crew photographs, this book focuses more on the stops along their cruise and the crew's activities at different ports.
