Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Church Records is a multi-volume multi-decadal series of sacramental record abstracts compiled for genealogical and historical research in Southeast Louisiana. These books contain abstracts of baptism, marriage, and burial entries taken directly from the historical sacramental registers of the Roman Catholic diocese. Encompasses records from the twelve civil parishes in the diocesan territory: Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupée, St. Helena, St. James, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana. There are no markings, labels, or other additions. No creased or missing pages. Volumes 1 and 2 show a little wear from use. Volume 2 has a few discolored pages where paper strips were used as bookmarks but all entries remain legible. These come from a smoke free home.
