Oversize hardcover in gray cloth boards with pastedown illustration and with dust jacket, 176 pages. Illustrated with color plates, black & white photographs and illustrations. A.T. (Aldro Thompson) Hibbard (1886 –1972) was an American plein air painter known for his landscape paintings, particularly his winter scenes in Vermont. Hibbard primarily worked with oil paint, as he found watercolor difficult to use during the winter months in the Vermont mountains. He spent much of his life in Rockport, Massachusetts. Book very good condition, top front corners bumped. Otherwise a nice clean copy. Dust jacket good with short tears, associated folding. Please see photographs. Winning bidder pays S&H.
