First edition [?] of this novel about a Soviet revolutionary corrupted by peacetime prosperity after the Civil War. Despite the political stance the book was published in the Soviet Union, in Odessa in 1927. The book appeared with the same collation in the same year with the Paris, Znanie imprint. SKU: 2119770
