Original cream cloth, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt; pp. xxxii, [2], 103, [2], 103 full-page lithographic illustrations, four double-page colour-lithographic plates; cloth a little darkened and with light bubbling to lower cover, endpapers spotted; internally clean and crisp. First edition, number 26 of a total print-run of only 50 copies, on fine paper. Wallis was a British Pre-Raphaelite painter, writer and collector of ceramics.
