File in oversize. ***For Sale In "As Is" Condition!*** About the author: Isabella Braun (1815-1886) was born in Jettingen, Germany. She was related to Count Schenk von Stauffenberg. She was one of the best known writers of youth literature in Germany in the 19th century. About the publisher: John Weik is listed in Philadelphia directories for 1851 and 1852 as a stationer; he was listed as an individual publisher between 1854 and 1857. John Weik imprints bearing issue dates of 1851 and 1856 have been located.
