Maus. A Survivor's Tale. First edition in book form, signed by the author on the epigraph page and with an original doodle of a mouse. In 1992, Maus became the first graphic novel to win a Pulitzer Prize.The comic was first published as a serial in Raw magazine between December 1980 and 1991. This volume comprises the first six chapters; the final five were published in book form in 1991 in a second volume, titled And Here My Troubles Began. The work has been used as a teaching tool for students of the Holocaust and received renewed attention in 2022 after a Tennessee school board banned it from their curriculum.
