ANON. Sabena. Original luggage label, c.1930. 95 x 135 mm. Sabena was created by the Belgian Government and began operations in 1923. Its first commercial flight was from Brussels to London via Ostend. In 1925 Sabena pioneered a long haul service to Leopoldville in the Belgian Congo. By 1931 Sabena had 43 aircraft, the mainstay type being the Fokker FVII as depicted in this label. Scarce. SKU: 2120784
