Excellent condition rare book: The Boy Who Fell Over Niagara Falls. The book documents Ader's 1972 performance at the Art & Project Gallery in Amsterdam, where he repeatedly read a Reader's Digest survival story about a boy who went over Niagara Falls. Ader was a Dutch conceptual and performance artist. This work centers on Ader's haunting themes of falling, gravity, precariousness, and loss—themes that gained a tragic and prophetic resonance when the artist disappeared at sea during an Atlantic crossing in 1975. Softcover, staple-bound, black-and-white publication (36 pages.) The book is clean and in great condition --- no bends or markings.
