The highlights are two desirable early editions of Mishima’s Sun & Steel. BOOKS INCLUDED Sun & Steel — Yukio Mishima — Secker & Warburg, London, 1971. First UK edition hardcover with original dust jacket. Translated by John Bester. Original price remains intact on the jacket flap, which also states that the jacket was designed by Mishima. Book is VG or better and clean throughout. Dust jacket is complete and shows visible vintage rubbing, edge wear and general age wear as pictured. Sun & Steel — Yukio Mishima — Grove Press, Evergreen Original E-583, 1970. Third printing paperback. VG+ condition; an exceptionally clean, well-preserved copy with only light age/shelf wear. Confessions of a Mask — Yukio Mishima — New Directions Paperbook NDP253, first paperbook printing, 1968. This is the most worn Mishima volume in the lot.
