RARE Oxford KJV Bible Longprimer Genuine Leather Edge Lined USED READ L@@K🌟 This Bible was printed in the USA at Oxford University Press, NY in 1943 when the printer was Humphrey Milford. He was Printer to the University of Oxford at Oxford University Press from 1913 to 1945. The Longprimer is a highly popular typeset. The Longprimer type is used on the flagship Bibles produced by R. L. Allan. Printed on that great opaque India Paper. This is a well constructed Bible With a great set of helps and maps in it. It is bound in semi-yapped genuine leather. The leather lining makes the covers more pliable. It is edge lined to the text block for added binding strength. The sewed binding opens flat anywhere. NOTE: The leather lining is not marked in the Bible. Please look at the pictures and use your judgment prior to placing your bid. Stored these last 83 years waiting for you. Don’t miss out. Condition: Acceptable condition. Covers are in good condition with shelf wear at spine ends. The sewn binding is strong. I flipped through it several times and found light pencil markings in the studied areas which were easily erased. I'm sure there are more that I didn't see since they were very light. There were also some brackets in ink. I didn't turn every page though so it's possible I may have missed some.
