This is a copy of the First St. Martin's Griffin Edition, First Printing paperback book entitled The Last Man on the Moon: Astronaut Eugene Cernan and America's Race in Space that has been signed by Eugene Cernan. He was an American astronaut and fighter pilot who is best known for his historic role as the commander of the Apollo 17 mission, making him the last human to walk on the Moon. He is also widely recognized for his prominent roles in space exploration as the lunar module pilot on Apollo 10 and the pilot of Gemini 9A.
