The cover art is by Tetsuo Hara (原哲夫), the artist of Fist of the North Star (photo 1). This issue launched CYBER Blue (CYBERブルー), Chapter 1 "新人類創造!!", as the lead color feature — story by BOB and Ryuichi Mitsui, art by Tetsuo Hara. It was Hara's first new serial after Fist of the North Star ended earlier the same year, and this is its debut chapter in the magazine it first ran in. The same issue carries Dragon Ball Chapter 202 "Makankosappo" (魔貫光殺砲) — the chapter named after Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, from the Raditz battle that opens the Saiyan saga (the beginning of what became Dragon Ball Z).
