Both volumes retain their original green cloth bindings with gilt spine decoration and are housed in the original matching slipcase. The books are exceptionally clean for their age, with tight bindings, clean pages and attractive gilt lettering. The illustrated boards and Eichenberg engravings remain crisp and striking.
