c 1944. Blue cloth with gilt titles on spine. Boards clean with light pressure mark on front board. Tips gently rubbed. Spine lettering clean, ends gently bumped. Binding firm. Text block toned. Previous owner's name at top of front end paper, else unmarked and clean. DJ not clipped ($5.50) age darkened, with some chipping and general edge wear. Spine missing large portion at middle; title remains unaffected and present, but author's name missing.
