ESTC locates copies in six institutions.Further editions appeared in 1686, 1705, and 1726; Thomas Jefferson owned a copy of the 1705 edition (Sowerby 1911). In his study of law books in 18th-century American libraries, Herbert A. Johnson found this the most common guide for justices of the peace.
