A handsome copy of Official Bartender's Guide by Old Mr Boston with wonderfully illustrated orange art deco page designs. The inner leaves contain decorative, colourful prints of the products of Old Mr Boston and provide a glimpse into post-prohibition era American culture. Second printing; 8vo (18 x 12 cm); pages beautifully illustrated with orange art deco design, middle eight leaves contain colourful wax paper illustrations of Mr Boston's alcoholic products, faint marking to edges of front and rear pastedown, upper hinge starting but very firm, otherwise very good internal condition; bound in full red morocco, black and gilt lettering and decoration to upper panel, gilt and black lettering to spine, some gilt slightly faded but still legible due to black underneath, small mark on rear panel, slight rubbing to corners and upper and lower joints, good overall condition; [ii], 158pp, [0].
