Two hand made greetings cards. The card dated 1947-1948 is signed "K. Hale" under the collage and the card dated 1948-49 is signed "Greetings from Douglas & Kathleen McClean". Kathleen Hale (who married McClean in 1926) is best known for creating the Orlando the Marmalade Cat series, the first title of which appeared in 1938.
