A beautifully printed set of translations and reprinted tracts piecing together Sir Walter Raleigh's last voyage to 'Guiana' (Venezuela) in search of El Dorado. During the expedition a detachment, not under his command, attacked the Spanish outpost of Santo Tomé de Guayana in violation of Anglo-Spanish peace treaties with his son being one of the fatalities.
