Frontier Areas Committee of Enquiry 1947. Report Presented to His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and the Government of Burma (Maymyo, 24th April 1947). First Rangoon editions, likely issued concurrent to the London HMSO editions of the same year. Instituted following the Panglong Agreement, the 1947 enquiry investigated the attitudes of different ethnic groups in the Frontier Areas to federalization and made recommendations on their political representation in the country's proposed constitution.
